Professional Intervention Services

A complete, family-centered process that starts with one confidential call and continues through six months of family recovery coaching. Led with love and respect, everywhere in the country.

How it works

The intervention process, step by step

Every family's situation is different, but the path is proven. Here is exactly what happens when you work with Clear Path Intervention.

1
Step one

Initial consultation

One confidential call. You tell us what is happening, we listen, and we tell you honestly whether an intervention is the right move for your family.

2

Build the team

Together we decide who belongs in the room: the family members and friends who love this person and can hold one unified message.

3

Assessment and treatment navigation

We assess your loved one's situation and identify the right treatment options, level of care, and placement before anyone sits down.

4

Team Zoom call and letter writing

The whole team meets by video. Our letter writing guide goes out, and every member prepares what they will say with our coaching.

5

Planning day: education and training

We spend most of the day before with your family, going through our material and preparing everyone to support your loved one. Together we build a complete plan for every answer, including exactly how the unified front responds if your loved one says no.

6

The intervention and transport

We lead The Intervention with love and respect, and when your loved one says yes, sober transport gets them to treatment safely, door to door.

7
The path continues

Family recovery coaching

The one-day family intensive begins your family's own healing, then you enter the 6-month Family Recovery Program with ongoing coaching through treatment, reintegration, and long-term recovery.

“We will build a team within the family and formulate a plan to approach the individual struggling with love and respect.”

What we do

Every service on the path

Professional Intervention Services means more than one difficult conversation. Each piece below is its own discipline, and each has its own page.

The Intervention

We lead the conversation itself: structured, compassionate, and prepared for every outcome. This is where your loved one is invited to say yes to help.

Family Recovery Course

A one-day intensive for your whole family, then the 6-month curriculum-based Family Recovery Program with 12 modules.

Sober Transport

Your loved one gets to treatment without issues, accompanied door to door by a recovery professional.

Treatment Navigation

Which program, which level of care, which state? We help you choose the right treatment path, with no kickbacks from any facility.

Case Management

Patient advocates in your corner as you navigate the complicated world of recovery.

Sober Companionship

Support systems, mentors and advocates who help your loved one maintain sobriety through the vulnerable early months.

Why professional

Why families bring in a professional

Typically, the family has tried every imaginable way to convince their loved one to change. We know that this approach rarely works, because their person has highly developed tactics to deflect any confrontation that could threaten their current path. The family is also too emotionally attached to remain grounded without someone objective helping formulate and implement the plan.

A professional interventionist changes the structure of that conversation. Learn more about what a professional intervention is, read the steps in the intervention process, or take the 2-minute readiness check.

Frequently asked questions

How fast can the process start?

Immediately. The initial consultation happens the day you call, and much of the early work, team building, assessment, and the team Zoom call, happens by phone and video.

Do you only handle the intervention itself?

No. The Intervention is one of seven steps. The process runs from the first consultation through treatment navigation, transport, and six months of family recovery coaching.

What does it cost?

Every family's situation is different. Our published range and what shapes it are covered honestly in our cost guide, and we will walk you through it on the first call.
