Having successfully overcome challenging years marked by addiction, Sydney Miles has diligently embraced recovery and brings that same determination to every family she serves.

Having successfully overcome some challenging years marked by addiction, Sydney Miles has diligently embraced recovery and a clean, sober lifestyle. Today she is living life to the fullest. She brings to Clearpath the same diligence and determination which she found in her personal recovery, coupled with professional experience at several treatment centers and in the community. She has provided compassionate care and valuable service as a case manager. She is dedicated to guiding others on their journey to sobriety.
Currently, Sydney is furthering her education by pursuing a degree in the mental health and substance abuse field in the social work program at Gulf Coast State College.
Sydney's compassionate nature and friendly demeanor enable her to connect deeply with others. She approaches each client and their families with the care and understanding she knows is vital, particularly during tough times. Her passion for helping others is genuine, and her skillful work is inspiring.
Sydney is the happy mother of a wonderful five-year-old, and is proud to be a "boy mom." She is an animal lover who appreciates reading and spending time outdoors.
Because Sydney has lived both sides of this work, first as someone finding her own way into recovery and now as a professional helping others do the same, families quickly sense that she is not reading from a script. She remembers what it felt like to need help, and she remembers the people who made asking for it easier. That memory shapes how she answers every call.
Her time working in treatment centers and in the community also gave her a practical education in how care systems really operate: what admissions teams need, how insurance questions get answered, and where families most often get stuck. She uses that knowledge to smooth the road before families even know there was a bump coming.
For many families, Sydney is one of the first voices they hear at Clear Path and one of the steadiest presences afterward. As outreach coordinator, she helps families take the intimidating first step of reaching out, answering questions and connecting them with the right intervention services for their situation. As case manager, she helps keep the many moving parts of a recovery plan organized: communication with treatment providers, follow-up with the family, and continuity of support as a loved one moves from intervention to treatment to aftercare.
Good case management is often the difference between a strong start and a strong finish. Clinicians commonly see that people do best in recovery when someone is tracking the details, closing the gaps between providers, and making sure the family stays supported along the way. That is the role Sydney fills, alongside our treatment navigation work.
Her studies in social work at Gulf Coast State College feed directly back into that role. The coursework in mental health and substance abuse deepens her understanding of what clients are experiencing clinically, while her day-to-day work with families keeps that learning grounded in real lives rather than textbooks. Families get the benefit of both: a case manager who understands the systems they are navigating and genuinely cares how the story turns out.
