About Johnny Joorfetz

Johnny Joorfetz is an experienced interventionist with Clear Path Intervention, specializing in addiction recovery and behavioral health since 2019. Trained through the ARISE Intervention model and a certified NCIP (Nationally Certified Intervention Professional), he brings a compassionate, structured, and family-centered approach to helping individuals and their loved ones navigate the path to recovery.

Johnny's work is deeply rooted in both professional training and personal experience. Having faced his own struggles with addiction, he understands firsthand the confusion, isolation, and pain that come with substance use disorder. Equally impactful was watching his own family wrestle with where to turn, what to do, or how to truly support someone they loved. That experience now fuels his mission.

A Passion for Both Sides of Recovery

His passion lies on both sides of the recovery journey: with the individual who is suffering, and with the family members who feel powerless, overwhelmed, and desperate for answers. Johnny is committed to bridging that gap by offering clarity, direction, and hope to families while guiding individuals toward a meaningful, lasting recovery.

Families working with Johnny often start with a struggle involving drug addiction or alcoholism, but his family-centered ARISE training means the whole support system is invited into the healing process, not just the person using substances.

The ARISE model that shaped Johnny's training is known for being invitational rather than confrontational: the loved one is invited into a family process of change instead of being ambushed by one. Clinicians commonly see that this collaborative posture lowers defensiveness and keeps the family relationship intact whatever the outcome of the first conversation. Johnny pairs that framework with the practical structure of his NCIP certification, giving families both a compassionate philosophy and a concrete plan.

Building a Recovery Network

Johnny has worked and collaborated with numerous treatment centers and sober living organizations, helping to build a strong recovery network. He holds a Master of Business Administration and is the CEO of Magnolia Recovery and Wellness Foundation, as well as co-owner of Now I See. Through these roles, he continues to expand access to effective, sustainable recovery solutions and advocates for a more compassionate, informed approach to addiction care.

That network matters for families in a practical way. When a loved one says yes to help, the hours that follow are critical, and an interventionist with strong working relationships across treatment and sober living can move quickly to confirm placement, coordinate admission details, and arrange sober transport so momentum is never lost. Johnny's combination of clinical training, business leadership, and lived recovery means he can manage those logistics while staying fully present with the family.

Johnny's work is driven by the belief that recovery is not only possible, but sustainable when individuals and families are given the right tools, support, and guidance. His goal is to ensure that no one has to face addiction alone and that families never have to wonder where to turn for help again.

Families who work with Johnny consistently describe the same feeling: the relief of finally having a guide who has seen this before and knows the way through. From the first planning call to the day their loved one enters treatment, he stays reachable, steady, and honest about what to expect at every step.
